Laura is Practical Law’s Head of Dispute Resolution, Insolvency and Restructuring. She has more than 13 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution, having developed specialist expertise in insolvency & restructuring with a particular focus on contentious and litigated matters, and has acted for insolvency practitioners, company directors, secured and unsecured creditors, and other major stakeholders in external administrations. Laura has served on the Turnaround Management Association NextGen Qld and NSW Committees, is a member of the Australian Restructuring and Turnaround Association (ARITA) and has completed the ARITA Advanced Certification course.
Jacqui is a senior lawyer writer with more than 13 years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution, with particular expertise in insolvency & restructuring and managed funds litigation. She has broad experience in a wide range of matters including debt recovery proceedings (both secured and unsecured), professional negligence claims (against auditors and valuers), Corporations Law proceedings (including claims against directors and officers for breach of duties), breach of contract claims as well as complex insolvency administrations and managed funds litigation.
