John has a Master’s degree in law from the University of Sydney. After practising as a solicitor in and around Sydney he joined Thomson Reuters in 2006, specialising in case law. John is a contributor to FirstPoint, Thomson Reuters’ online case law research solution, and an editor and reporter for the Australian Law Journal Reports, the leading series of advance reports of cases determined by the High Court of Australia.
