In May of this year Thomson Reuters Netwrx in association with Survive Law, held the inaugural law student event, Make Me a Lawyer, at the Sydney Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.
The event was an opportunity for industry practitioners to share their knowledge and experience with young law students.
Practical, invaluable advice on topics including CV formatting, application letters and interview tips, was given from Make Me A Lawyer’s expert panel sessions. In this particular panel, students heard discussion from Ben Carter, Senior Resourcing Consultant at Minter Ellison; Peter Leonard, Partner at Gilbert and Tobin; Rebecca Angus-Smith, Co-Founder of bizelaw.com and more.
