The report findings show that Allens ranked first on the Thomson Reuters 2016 M&A league table for both announced and completed deals in Australia, with an approximate transactions value of US$51 billion ($68 billion AUD) for the year.<\/p>\n

Herbert Smith Freehills followed closely in second, recording a value of US$44 billion ($58 billion AUD), though the firm ranked first in completed deals (65 completed deals) throughout the same period.<\/p>\n
